Jester
Nice job Luke. Funny your doing a 720, I came here looking to see if there was any for sale that was worth looking at. Thinking 12V as well. You make this look so easy. BTW: Last time I was at the pick a part in Albany, they had a couple 720's with black/grey int. Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
So in this instalment of let's find out what nissan changed to screw me over! Theirs a length difference between autos and 5 speeds and the output shafts are different sizes. AWESOME! I missed this. How much difference in length? an inch? That's not too bad and will still work. Output shafts are different??? You mean length, correct? The splines sizes should be the same. Quote Link to comment

Trans were different lengths i had to get the front half of the drive shaft from a 5spd truck at the wrecking yard. And yes the output shaft on the auto is bigger in diameter than the 5spd. which is why i grabbed the front half of the driveshaft. Quote Link to comment

ggzilla
now getting fantastic MPG also. My guess is mid 30,s waiting till I fill up next. I think you'll find the odometer is off. 15% off is fairly common. Adjust the MPG calculations accordingly. Quote Link to comment
