10hrs. of driving for the sickness!

Recommended Posts

Well, one our local tuesday nighters has been a weird kinda car nut but never really OWNEd a Datsun. Slowly but surely the datsun sickness started infecting him and he woke up the other day wanting one. Unfortunately he settled on one that was all the way out in kennewick which is only a four hour drive but I still think we could've found one closer, lol.

Anyway, we made it to Kennewick today at about 2;30 and loaded the car pretty quickly so we could begin pillaging the parts cars he had. Well if your into 411's then you would've been in heaven! We found tons of stuff that was brand new and stuff that was like new. It was all just piled inside two other 411's parked out in this guys dust bowl. We found four really sweet mirrors that were perfect, grilles, 521 grille, turn signal lenses, glass, wiring harnesses, ignition switches, headlight switches, cowls, trunks, interior pieces up the ass!

We talked with the owner some about the 411 my friend purchased and I guess he had owned since it was NEW! I wanted to pick his brain and hear a bunch of cool stories of the adventures he had in the car but unfortunately he had to leave. It was kinda cool that he let us have free reign of any parts we wanted.

The sucky part was one was a wagon that actually could be made driveable again. Its just so stuck in the sand and the rust is slowly taking over making it unsavable, our parts raping didnt help either. lol!

Hopefully we can get John on here to post some pics of our trip and the long day datsun adventure. peace.
