What should I see in my dash?

I've got an '83 720 and my question is fairly simple... what gauges/displays should I see in the dash? I've got my speedometer in the middle but that's all. To the right and left of the speedometer are two circles, but they appear dark, nothing in the middle. My oil light, battery, and other warning lights appear to work just fine, is something missing or is this the "stock" option? Thanks.

Bottom right in cluster... tach.

Bottom left ................... clock....not a 'common' item for the pre 83+

ok, my dash looks a bit different. where the tach and clock are, the plastic is just dark with a double lined, white circle.

Yeah...they are removable 'delete' plates

either dash cluster is customizable to a point. ive never worked on the square ones, but the round ones, the plates just pop out, the guage goes in, all plug and play. except for the tach, you may need the resistor that goes under the hood.
