Help me brainstorm here.... Rebuilding z22 engine

So Im in the process of getting my engine rebuilt RIGHT NOW... its already at the machinist, getting done then coming right back over to my "labor shop" to get replaced in the truck again.

Normally I woulda done all the pulling and replacing myself but Im currently in a home with no garage and no space other then parking for 2 cars.... plus the owners dont allow you to work on your car here(trailer park).

But I have my "labor shop" doing the pulling and replacing for me, going to put everything back together for me as well, even though I only petitioned them for a pull and drop, said I would put on all the extras myself(dizzy, starter, altenator, intake, exhaust, hoses, plugs, wires etc) but they said theyd be charging me the same either way and preffered I drive out of there with a running vehichle.

Theyve also made it clear they are trying to keep costs down for me so I can pick up ANY and ALL extras needed for the install myself and supply them with it... Im paying them ONLY for the labor. Shopping online, namely rock auto, will save me a bit of dough doing this process.

SO....

This is what I need help with....

What all do I need? I dont want to miss anything and have to wait longer for shipping again or pay more by having them pick it up... so far this is what I have in mind that will be necessary... anything else you guys can think of, please mention it.

Getting the engine back in long block form. Already have ALL major parts and all are new or like new down to the spark plug wires...

heres what I have in my shopping cart so far... what am I missing?

Why replace the speedo cable?

160 thermostat is too cold get 180 at lowest.

I guess the plugs are platinum but the plug ranges are BPR6ES for the intake plugs and BPR5ES for the exhaust side. The exhaust plugs run hotter because they are close to the exhaust valve so a colder range plug is used.

Well... my old speedo cable came loose, dragged on the ground and broke off the lil bit inside the end.... so I need to replace it... not a standard replace, same with the accelerator cable, but my old one is frayed slightly and makes my pedal stick at points.... so might as well get em now, for cheap, in the same order.

As for the thermostat... its maybe cold for you in canada... but for here in southern california where the average winter temp is still over 70 degrees and the summer temp is around 110 and with the cooling system being the main thing to fail in the truck previous to this rebuild... i would rather it run cooler. standard is only 180 so I think I need to go a bit lower.

These are the appropriate temp plugs(intake/exhuast) for the plat versions... so the part number is a lil diff from copper.

Anything else that you think I may be missing though? thats what Im worried bout more then anything... what am I forgetting?
