In the US, all the datsuns had number designations - 1200, 510, 620 etc...  In japan the 1200 was a Sunny, the 510 was a bluebird - what did they call the 620?

I get my entire front end suspension replaced for Christmas minus the KYB's I already  have. Sooooo tie rod ends, ball joints etc. anyone know of any links to good deals or part numbers so I can purchase locally? And as an update, Lola is finally in the garage after some major cleaning duty. She's been sitting under a tree on the side of the garage for about 8 months now.... uncovered :( got lots of sap and pine needles to clean up before I get to work

little update,

 

ordered: moog upper and lower ball joints, tie rods, idler arm, bushing kit

 

tomorrow it'll be new fuel lines! hoooraaay

Boom, made some new fuel lines

 

 

I'll probly end up remaking them when the cab comes off

New verses old... the new lines are shorter because... well they didn't have anything longer than 60"

So I picked up some MDF board:

 

 

And here is some numbers for those of you wanting to make some of your own

It was a slow and dusty process...

But it started to come out looking like brand new.

Picked up some body clips from ace hardware for less than $10

 

I recommend picking up around 20 clips at a minimum.

Here they are pressed into the door for fitment

Also bent some fuel line to go back to the cell, I honestly should have bought two more of the 1/4"x 60" tubing and just made them longer... hindsight 20/20 is a PITA

 

 

I'm going to need to take them back off again clean and respray undercoating on this dirty section

Before I can put the bed back on, I need to address the only rust on the entire truck... better to be one big rust hole, than a 100 tiny ones all over

After dinner, I'll take some pics of the new fuel cell spout from Jazz ( or however its spelled)

Have you already made some mounts/straps for the cell? I see it sitting in place, but I take it you made the fuel lines to the rough area the tank is going to be at?

The lines stop close to the shock mount, from there I'll be running hose down to the sump.

Since I decided to go with straps, I wont be able to mount the tank until I have the bed on so that I will have proper clearance of the 45 degree filler neck. From the top of the neck, to the bottom of the fuel cell is roughly 12" I think... scratch that. ill need to go 're measure that again.
