Dash air vents?

Can you close the driver and passenger HVAC vents?

My 720 does not have AC, just heat. I've heard that the non-AC setups just have the passenger and driver dash vents just vent to outside air, but it always blows ambient are inside the cabin. Is there suppose to be a way to close these vents? Otherwise it's just blowing ice cold air into the cabin when the heat is on.. doesn't make sense. I've literally gotta be missing something.

Yes folks its that easy!! One little click is all it takes!

Has everyone forgotten about recirculate? It has its own slider that goes thump when you change it. You want to move it from the right over to the left. You want to move it from the car with an arrow flowing into the cabin that has "fresh" written under in to the car with an arrow going around in a circle inside the cabin that says "recirc". Freezing cold air you say? You will want airflow to keep the windows free of condensation. Every time I park the truck in a cold environment, all sliders go to the middle so when I come back, no excess moisture has entered the cab and the only draw on the battery upon starting is the starter. I then slide the airflow slider to "fresh" and slide the fan slider to "2". You'd also be surprised how much you can dictate the cabin temperature with the little blue and red bar thingy ohh man... what is that thing called? ohh yeah the hot and cold slider.

I too have no a/c and I have no issues getting the standard cab to a temperature that the devil himself couldn't stand after about 5-8 minutes driving.

Sorry for all of that bro!

I'll fiddle around with the air selection switches a bit more. I thought when I set it to recirc it was still blowing. I couldn't see how they closed at the vent itself either. I'll take a good solid look at it. Every time I am trying to figure it out, I am driving or at a stop light. Not enough time to get it dialed in I guess. derp derp derp...

Thanks for the replies.
