banzai510(hainz)
Is that bearing the hOLE side on the block side? I tore apart a L motor once and the previos owner put the oppisite side bearing(no hole ) covering the oil oil thus the bearing journal on crank never got oil. It ran for thousand miles but the center feed hole was covered cause the bearing the halves were swapped. Unless your set of bearings both halves have a oil holes Quote Link to comment

Not only that......but I wasn't about to rip this crank out again...... Old ones out.... New ones in..... This is how I left her last night.... You know your not supposed to grease up the backside of the bearing on install right? It's supposed to be installed dry. 1 Quote Link to comment
Busta Nut
You know your not supposed to grease up the backside of the bearing on install right? mrbigtanker
If it hardens depending on the grease and even if does not harden your changing the clearence between the crank and the main's. 2 Quote Link to comment
