Well.........

.........I had to get oversized main bearings also.....

....but in order to make that happen for my deadline.....I had to give Northbay Nissan one of my kidneys.....

Not only that......but I wasn't about to rip this crank out again......

Old ones out....

Antony you do good work and I am glad myself you did not paint the freeze plugs, it gives a sense of character that it was replaced and care and time was taken to do it right.

Thank you good Sir!!

Is that bearing the hOLE side on the block side?

I tore apart a L motor once and the previos owner put the oppisite side bearing(no hole ) covering the oil oil thus the bearing journal on crank never got oil. It ran for thousand miles but the center feed hole was covered cause the bearing the halves were swapped. Unless your set of bearings both halves have a oil holes

You know your not supposed to grease up the backside of the bearing on install right? It's supposed to be installed dry.

Gotchya........well.......

I did it when I put the 2.2 together in the beginning.....took it apart after like 5 miles of driving and there wasn't a trace of it.....

......so I'm hoping it doesn't become an issue.......
