as far as the engine bay goes its just about done theres just a few akward holes that im  brainstorming on how to fix/fill, next thing to do is bondo all the repairs and sand

im trying but its a tedious process in below freezing conditions lol two space heaters and a shop light .....

picked up some 195/55/15s        today 4 tires for 270$ not bad ehh

put the tires on the rims by my self with a big flat head and dishsoap than i stretched one........... lol kinda fun it has pretty much the slight stretch i wanted nothing flashy still functional but how i wanted it B)

i do have to move the bed back since its datsun bed on mitsu. frame 2-3 in for them to center up and than drop 3-4 in

So what are you going to do about the gap? 

It looks like the cab is to far forward on the frame looking at the front wheel in the fender well, so you can move the cab back maybe?

so the cab right now is not attached and is moved forward about 3-4 in.

 

the PO did pretty well with matching the lines and closing the gap for it sitting on a mighty max frame

 

although i will have some gap issue   when i move the bed back im not entirely sure what i will do yet,  but if i dont than the wheels will look very bad with a 3-4 inch lower...

 

 

after i get everything ready for paint i will test match with the bed moved where i want it and see how bad if at all it is.

this was a pain in the ass doing it by myself...lol

 

 

 

 

so i found about a 1/4 in of bondo in some places on both sides in this area,.. and for no real good reason couple of minor dings and a few big ones but not enough to paste a thick sheet over....smh

Good job tendril.  I use the 4 corner hooks on the bed for liftihng the bed.  It is still challenging doing it alone.

yea that would have been ideal , but all i had was a single chain and a cherry picker lol that leaked pressure slowly

She was actually tanning after this oic ,better UV penatration a mile+ up but cold real cold not much under that sweater

Oh god that's just foul true! But very very wrong ... hey james ts OK to leave some paint like I did right? So that's at 80 grit than I'm going to 100 and than 120 and than 200 should that be good? For primer?

Gonna need to seal the bare metal..... I reccomend a epoxy as a good start if u have access to a gun
