Well I just read all 7 pages. And all I can come up with is just "WOW!!!!!!" I just got my 74' 620 a couple weeks ago and your truck has helped me see what potential there is in these awesome little trucks. And I'm also so a Georgia Datsun owner!!!!

Shawn

thanks buddy , and yeah the sky is the limit with this little trucks, you can purchase parts in ebay.com, or any auto parts .

Lovin it man! Seems like as soon as I bought mine everyone else started showing up in them. haha

you guys need to do a caravan to canby

We'll have enough 620's to keep at least one running when the rest fail.

This should keep you all motivated.

what about going big with a RB26DETT ?

Dude, RB26 would cost you somewhere in the area of $1000-1500 for the motor alone. Not to mention the engine bay was designed for a 4 cylinder, so anything else won't fit without some SERIOUS mods.

The RB is much heavier as well, so brake upgrades are a must to go with that.

The reason that I wish to upgrade my L18 is because I'm tier of it having this problems with the timing, I will ask if Datsun Parts LLC have something new on their warehouse maybe I will go with a SUPA DUPA L20 with all the nice upgrades.

Just to let you know with an LZ22 you will need to run 1/2 tank of 110 octane fuel @ $8.00 a gallon... Been there done that and it sucks... I'm now running an SRDET... Love it!

What do you mean 110 octane L22 did you build a 2.3 because i have one all built im mrbigtanker in the 521 section and i aint going to run anything above 91 octane.

I used a u67 head on a stock NAP-Z 2.2L block running dual 44 Mikunis and a header. If you drive like an granny, maybe you don't need the higher octane fuel, but if you do any spirited driving, you'll need higher octane or enjoy the "ping". Most everyone else who has posted on here with an LZ22 has complained about the same thing.
