I'm looking forward to soaking up some of your knowledge. I live in Murrieta CA, I recently Bought a 1970 pl521 and i am loving it! my truck has an L18 engine and a 5speed, a sock modified into an air filter on the hitachi carb.. a bit of rust, yep she's pretty dreamy. Kinda bummed the previous owner cut off all the bed hooks. also sorry about the pics the only lens i have for my camera right now is a fisheye. Quote Link to comment

Anyone else remember that? The simpler days. Anyway, I have the hooks on mine, and they are staying BUT, you are lucky they are gone on yours in a way.
