Son_of_a_Datsun_Guy
I was wonder if any of you guys have done or seen center console swaps that will go into a 510. I'm looking for a way to A: not have to drive with my knees if I'm drinking something and B: fill out all the empty space that is above the transmission tunnel. The shifter in my car is in the stock position (got an l16 so it's not farther back where SRs or KAs would be) Quote Link to comment

Son_of_a_Datsun_Guy
Thank you! I don't how I didn't see that when I was cruising through the lists, looks like there plenty of ways to do a clean swap! Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
I used a 2000 Dodge neon console in my 620. Great fit & it has 3 coffee holders. Should also fit nice in a 510. Quote Link to comment
screamer510
My yellow car came with a wooden cupholder box. About 10 inches long, 6 inches wide, and 5 inches tall. Two round holes for large cups. Unpainted, unfinished, ready to go! I'll be making another one in tribute for my red car. GL Quote Link to comment

Son_of_a_Datsun_Guy
Any civic? Or like the 80s civics? I assume that's a 510 center console (I've never actually seen one) and that would be awesome to have... but you know, expensive... Quote Link to comment

Son_of_a_Datsun_Guy
Ugh I'm bad at this game... only ever seen swaps or bare tunnels... I do have that square datsun shifter boot plate though, mainly to cover up the big hole that the shifter goes through Quote Link to comment

qwik510
My friend Lee found a console that looks right at home in a 510 and was an easy install. It has an ebrake slot so if you want to relocate the ebrake, it will look finished. It came out of a Ford Contour SVT. I don't know what year but it cost like $40 Quote Link to comment

Camtron
Does anyone have more pics they could post of a civic or 620 console in a 510? Or has anyone used a 720 console? I'd like to find something that transitions smoothly into the dash and doesn't block the heater vents or can be made to fit. Thanks in advance!
