SW Portland, Barbur Blvd. Out of the blue this Z car stops and a young lady named Andrea stops to talk to me. I ask her if she is on Ratsun? Were you at Canby?? She doesn't know what I'm talking about. I ask her about the car. It was her mothers that got bought off a used car lot back in the 70's. Mom drove it until a front end accident where it sat in a carport for years. She found a mechanic working out of a shop over on 82nd who has been working on it to be her DD. She said it was really hard to find parts and get it back together, but she seemed waay into it. I snapped this pic, and told her she had been sighted on Ratsun. It makes 570hp on pump gas and right at 740hp on race gas. It's INSANE. :huh: And belongs to the same guy who has a 427hp SR20DET Datsun 1200 ute. Rough life having 2 of these baby's in your garage.... A guy walks into my shop...says he wants to paint his car... I figure the guy for a Honda or Toyota guy...
