510Chad
Actually Mike is right. The number I provided is actually a 510 #. However BOTH should (I think) work AND the 510 # is cheaper. Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
thanks chad and mike!!! you ask and and you shall receive on Ratsun!!!!! Any recommendations on brands? or places to get them, a quick rock auto search brought up nadda  Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
While posting I missed that it was a Z 5 speed and had to go back and adjust. 32861-N7301 is only for the '82-'83 non turbo 280zx. This bushing is totally different and looks like this.... ... and won't fit the 510 stock tranny. Well not the PL510 but if you have the HL510 with optional dogleg the 32855-H1010 and 32861-N44200 bushings will. Quote Link to comment

Eagle_Adam
i have a non dog leg 5 speed out of a Z in my 620 - so what s the correct part #, sry i got confused  Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The side ones can be made from door hinge kits. There are others that might work better... These were too big to fit the shifter and the pin hole was too big, but... I used a hack saw to remove some material and pinched together until it was a perfect fit. Had to lightly sand the sides down till it would slip in smoothly between the tranny ears. Very snug (not tight) fit no slop, will last forever. . 2 Quote Link to comment

ggzilla
The bottom cup bushing doesn't usually go bad. The side bushings always do. They are only about $8 at Nissan. Less than the price on eBay. Quote Link to comment

Spawn
Nismo dr hooked me up, gotta love Nissan parts Sorry for bumping the thread after so long, but I'm in the same boat with my 620 4 speed shifter. I have a lot of rattle coming from the shifter, which disappears when I put pressure on it or lift up on the shift knob ever so lightly. I'm sure that this points to the two shifter bushings on either side of the shifter arm. Would I be better off trying to source the plastic bushings from Nissan or are the Help! packages a better option (if so, would I be better off going with the #38388 pack or #38410 that I've seen elsewhere here on Ratsun)? shacks510
I had brand new factory ones that disintegrated in a week. Make bronze door bushings work. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The factory ones are cheap just get two pairs. Good for 5-8 years. The door bushings are more work to do but last forever. Quote Link to comment

MikeRL411
Call a local dealer, you might be surprised what they have lying around....unless your in omaha, i bought the last couple sets at my local dealer a few yaers back:-) The NISMO catologue listed solid metal replacemen shift bushings. Take the time to talk to the counter person. If he/she is an idiot ask for the Nismo parts catalog and be surprised at what is documented! Quote Link to comment
shacks510
Expect to pay a lot more for something at the dealer, especially Nissan comp. A pack of bushings is around $7 depending on where you go. Extra bushings can be used for other things too. Quote Link to comment
