Well, it's battery powered... by the truck's battery. Unless the truck's running, then it's powered by the alternator.

 

The clock normally doesn't have its own fuse. Usually it's the same fuse as the dome light or the cigarette lighter, but I'm not positive with the 720, as they have a lot more fuses than the 620s did.

 

What usually happens is dust/dirt/moisture gets into the clock mechanism and jams it, then the electrical movement part burns out. Sometimes it's just stuck and freeing it up makes it work again.
