What turbo manifold are you going to be running? Since you are doing a high end build on this SR I was hoping that you were going something Mazworx or Full Race. I figured you would be the tester for a nice turbo manifold. LOL.

Hi, This build is not driven by power (for the most part) It is aimed at reliability and strength. Also I am spending enough at this stage of the build.

I will be still using my GT2871R and McKinney Log Mani any marginal power gains realized by a better breathing ex manifold are inconsequential to me.

350-400whp is more than enough for this little 510.

Maybe if I get bored I can change all that up. There will def be enough motor to attain higher numbers.

Hey...when you are done you can race against my rotary. I am going to push about 300 HP on laughing gas...PISTON VS. ROTOR!

Hahaha, Lets keep it on the track

It will be a while till I am at that stage....

Damn, I am getting Nickle and Dimed to death here! Pun Intended.

It seems even the small details add up to allot!

Had to order even more odds and ends like Clutch fork, pivot ball and boot.

Clutch Master is leaking too... Crap!

Need a 15/16" Brake Master too!! Or at least a rebuild kit but I cant find one

for the 15/16" Master...!

Lookin good my man. Trying to sell my Honda So I can buy a spare motor so I can get it to Rebello. You gonna have it back on the road for Datsloco? If not you can roll with me if ya like.

Hey Bro, whats up? Thanks! Unfortunately, it will not be done by the time Datsloco comes around. I am guessing; and this is a stab in the dark, that is will be done by August.... (shit better be!)

I am not selling anything big this time but I do have a few things that I would not want to put into your dime bro. So I will have load up my car and follow....

What are you trying to get Rebello to build? An L series? You have a KA right?

That's right. You have Marcus' motor. Forgot about that.

Ya, time to rebuild that thing. Is there a reason why you are going with Rebello?

In California, I contacted Rebello, Garage Boso, Cosworth, Z car Garage and a shop in San Jose.

Unfortunately, the labor rate for rebuilding a motor in CA is horrendous, ~$125/hr or more! Rebuilding an engine is pretty time consuming not to even mention the machining involved so it will cost you allot. Unless you find a shop that will give you a flat price for an "engine rebuild," that's how you're gonna get charged.

I only had to contact 2 shops out of state to make my decision. One shop had, I think, a $55 shop rate and the other a $70 shop rate. The quotes we decent and even tho I have to ship my motor out of state, it was still way cheaper and better service than here in Cali...

Anyways, If you want any details. Message me.....

Good Moring, Twas a Beautiful weekend and got out to the park with my hunny and all the kids.

Had some time on Saturday so did some more polishing and prep of some parts while waiting to get going on this engine bay.

Polished my Intercooler Piping and Coolent Overflow Bottle...

Also picked up a Greddy Oil Filter Relocation Kit...

Also looking for a 15/16 Brake Master Cylinder or a rebuild kit for one.

Anyone have any or any idea where to get the kit?

I have searched and although there are threads about the 15/16 master and how they do not make

the re-build kit any more and how some other kits may work, there are no follow up reviews of the kits...

Please help....

Thanks everyone!

I had HUGE ermish 12.2" rotors and 4 piston Willwoods...... and the 7/8" master was plenty

I've heard of some 510's with 15/16" master cylinder feeling like a brick for a brake pedal ..... so 7/8"s is more common for a softer brake pedal
