max2004 Posted November 3, 2011 Report Share Posted November 3, 2011 One side of rad mount de-sodered itself in bush. Rad jumped up causing rad fan blade to bite into lower rad hose tube. Fan exploded and went into rad killing it instantly. Got used 1988 Nissan 720 aluminum rad from jy. Installed rad, but still have no fan!! Jy wants 45.- for a fricken plastic fan, too mucho for me. Thought about going electric, then ordered this fan from eBay. http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?VISuperSize&item=250851658756 Thought I would shorten the blades to lessen strain on the water pump.
