This is my little brothers first truck !

 

L16 ( I think?)

4 speed

single carb

 

 

We just picked it up here in North county San Diego

We bought it not running on a rat rod rebuild budget!

If you're in the area send a message.

 

we got it to turn over and run the other day thanks to ratsuner's and a buddy!

 

gone through the basics. new this and that !

still looking for the equalizer....

 

OK, I will give you a choice, you can make your own if you want for cheap, the photo below is to give you an idea, it can be made with two triangle plates with 3 to 5 bolts on the bottom in an arc, and one or two up front for the connection and another bolt with nut to hold them apart and/or hold it on the cable. The diagram is over sized for ease to see.

I will also sell you what you need, but it will cost you $20.00 shipped. Fact is, I hate the post office, I always end up standing in line for at least 20 minutes minimum, they are so freaking slow. Enough whining, let me know what you want to do.

Clutch... is un responsive...

 

The master is holding fluid and fluxuates when pedal is pushed, however there is no pedal.

 

Tracing the lines from master to slave cylinder there is no action.

 

I will remove the hose that meets the slave to check for fluid and clear lines, i believe its a 16 mm.

 

... from this pic , looking at the lines from the master to the slave it looks like the lines could be be corroded ?!

update:

now were on to the clutch master cylinder as we have no fluid reaching the bleeder valve at the slave...

 

we've had a 2 week stoppage sourcing this part...

any leads on a nabco appreciated!

 

autozone and oreilly both ordered the wrong part and could not provide the correct part.
