wayno
That is awesome, I just can't figure out where you find the power to do that. You need to find a matched turbo, bigger isn't always better in this case. Good job on the burn out comp. Quote Link to comment
ratsun720
cheers heaps man! It good to get some feedback. I was quite suprised how many people came up to me on the day with questions, like if it was really a stock SD22 motor? lol. All the burnouts started off in 2nd gear and finished in 2nd gear. Got plans for a new burn out car now~ were going to go have a look at an old 40's model Dodge tonight. Maybe put a 318 in it. (bit more HP than 62) lol. Cheers, Damo Quote Link to comment
ratsun720
After a swag load of thought, me and the missus just cant bring ourselves to pull appart the 'ratsun'. So instead were going to make a little tow truck out of it for the farm. That way it can still be road registered aswell. Yesterday we went and got another ute chassis, 1950 Bedford cab, 1948 Bedford front grille and headlights, (all for free) and bought the 318 V8 for $500. Were going to turn the old beddy into a real rat rod. Chop and section the body, chop the roof & drop the body around the chassis another 3 inches. It should look pretty mean! Ill be getting stuck into it in the next few days. - but not sure if i should post pics though as this is a "Ratsun" forum, dont want to tread on anyones toes ~ its a groovy site. Cheers, Damo and Gem Quote Link to comment
