Alldata says "Install oil pump drive gear so that large chamfered inner side faces rearward." I don't see a "large chamfered side" of the drive gear. I'm confused. Please Help. Quote Link to comment
HRH Posted October 3, 2011 Report Share Posted October 3, 2011 The gear is offset, I believe the smaller half moon is between the mounting bolts of the dist. housing if you were to draw a line extending out from the flat edge of the gear. The smaller side would face forward towards the timing cover. Quote Link to comment
