SR20DETdatsun510 Posted September 28, 2011 Report Share Posted September 28, 2011 Damn, I just got through watching Killer Elite and I gotta say, besides being a good movie, I was dumb founded at all the classic Import cars. It's set in the early 80's around Europe, Middle East and Australia. So the back ground and sets had to have nothing but geographically period cars. I seen at least two 510's! There might be more in the far back ground. A white four door was front and center in one scene. I particularly liked the Black Ford Capri MKI. :w00t: There was also a Ford Cortina MKIII and Escort MKII (I think that is what it was) Lot's of Exported Fords. Has anyone else seen this movie? No second run theaters near you? I went to this one in Cupertino called Blue Light Cinima's and it's $5. Just gotta wait a 6 weeks for the movies to get there.... Quote Link to comment
bananahamuck Posted November 2, 2011 Report Share Posted November 2, 2011 No cheap movie places here, because one of the local Universities is a progressive type school ( no grade system=hipster / hippie ) they turned it into a artsy-fartsy movie place a few years ago. And the other run down theater was running goofy plays and some times showing second runs but they refurbished it. Now i am not sure who uses it. Quote Link to comment
