i just struck a deal for one of these

78 subaru 4x4 goon this isnt a pic of the one im getting just a general shot the one im getting needs brake and clutch work but it comes with 2 spare motors and 3 sets of tires including studs it runs like a top has some rust and needs a tail light lens but all in all a clean little goon pics will be up in about 2 weeks when i make my first payment

yeah i thought so there is no way in hell im driving the datto in the snow and ice i haveput to much time and work into it to see something bad happen to it and for the screamin deal i got on this i couldnt say no

Nice! I love these little Subi cars...Those have that funky bolt pattern that makes finding aftermarket wheels impossible...Rattle can the car and run it!

They are easy to convert to 6 lug due the the 4 x 6.5 dia pattern. Leave two studs in the axle/hub across from each other. Bolt up a six lug wheel, mark the centers of the 4 open holes and drill new stud holes. You have to buy some new wheel studs, but you'll never be short on wheel selection after that. ;)

 

C'mon Bonvo how much? $50 :D

that is a good idea might have to do that ive seen it done the other whey where they drill holes in the wheels to acomidate the 4 lug pattern but 2 extra lugs a wheel couldnt hurt

im thinking i might go with a mild lift

a mild lift would be cool but for the terrain around here a rally style setup would be best but then again its not winter yet so it might need a lift my biggest issue with lifting it is that its not actually lifting it its lowering the drive train so im not really getting more travel just ground clearance

yeah thats bad ass! this is my neghbors subi i see him drive it around all over the place and i stumbled onto pics of it on usmb
