HRH
Unbelievable sklls. Official time was supposedly 9:51, video looks like it's a little off, but that's probably the video start. Absolutely phenomenal driving skills. F me, if I could be half that good, I'd be pretty happy. Quote Link to comment

HRH
Yeah, damn hippies bitched too much about the dust killing trees, etc., etc. They're going to eventually pave it all. Times should get really quick at that point. Quote Link to comment

Hardwyre
You didn't used to so much drive Pike's Peak as you did skate it. :) The Sierra Club are the fucks who got it paved. Honestly they could give a shit less about their claims, they just like easy money targets: You see the way the Sierra club works (as in makes money) is this: 1) they find an issue they can sue over - runoff from pikes peak road 2) they use volunteer attorney time and low cost staff attorney time to prosecute the lawsuit but they keep track of every second of attorney time. 3) When they prevail in Court they request attorney fees in the form of MARKET RATE attorney fees. So for example, they have staff attorneys they pay $100-150/hr salary. The staff attorneys supervise volunteer attorneys and law students that they pay $0/hr or close to it. However MARKET RATE for large firm environmental law litigators is easily $400+ per hour. So the Sierra Club litigates for profit. Their favorite target is City and Country governments and departments thereof because such entities are afraid to fight the big well known Sierra Club. So they cave and settle and pay mega bux in Sierra Club attorney fees. It is a well known scam that Sierra Club does all the time. This is one of their main sources of funding. Just another reason to detest the Sierra Club. And with every win they getting more donations from the pseudo environmentalist (people who watch TV and movies as hobby, and never go outside) -this is why they never take on any big/real pollution cases just small little things with zero defense budgets or like off roaders, unorganized. they are also rumored to extort large companies for "corporate" donations. In the end, the way they really operate is "once we have ours (as in massive houses in beautiful forested areas), we won't let anyone else have theirs (suing cities over letting more development occur in those same forests they just built their house in.)". The Columbia Gorge is a perfect example of this hypocrisy. Quote Link to comment
GreenEggs&Ham
Sierra Club = Evil geniuses then!? I recall someone saying this was the last year with dirt too.. If that's the case its a shame. Whats stopping a formula1 or champ car from competing then?? boring. Quote Link to comment
