TENDRIL Posted June 22, 2014 Author Report Share Posted June 22, 2014 i already did ... just sent a line down the door line, unfortunately these flares are shit and have been pretty upset with them so i didnt care to much on how i did the cut. i will be looking into better quality flares money permitting... and cutting a little bit more before i weld the tubs in, and will also be cutting the diff/trans tunnel and simultaneously be fabbing the old back seat lower part to still work with the diff tunnel work, or just bucket seat the back ...cause race goon 1 Quote Link to comment

TENDRIL Posted July 9, 2014 Author Report Share Posted July 9, 2014 yea!!! so story behind the swap is...its a 1993 from a 240sx, came with 5 speed with stage 2 clutch, harness, ecu. motor does need a rebuild, since it was "driven for about 30min then it just shut off!? , i opened the hood and i forgot to put the radiator cap on" :no: still turns over but has no compression, motor was at about 180k, he said... i haven't dug into it yet but when i get a little more time i will. picked it all up for $300 and im hoping after its all said and done i will have about as much money, or a little more, into it as a running swap, but with a rebuilt motor 5 Quote Link to comment

TENDRIL Posted January 12, 2015 Author Report Share Posted January 12, 2015 So KA is getting a going through at machine shop, I have a over the pond source for my rebuild kit all Japanese stuff . I need to find better flares , finish cutting and sealing the rear wells and diff tunneling, relocate batt. Source bigger wheels so I can get rid of spacers but have to fit over my front calipers , also need to shorten my front struts to get better travel ,add those wagon traction bars things And find time and energy to do all this while dealing with some personal endvors 3 Quote Link to comment
