79210 Posted June 20, 2011 Report Share Posted June 20, 2011 i have a 79 210 notch with an l20 and was wondering if any one could tell me the approximate weight and also is there any spots on the chassis that need to be strengthened i plan on road racing it and i jus want a stiffer chassis Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak Posted June 20, 2011 Report Share Posted June 20, 2011 Unless it's off-road racing, I wouldn't expect it needs anything in particular reinforced. The best way to stiffen it is with a well-designed roll cage, the construction of which will be mandated by the sanctioning body overseeing whatever series you plan to run in. And anyone's guess on weight here is just that, a guess. Find a truck stop near you that has scales, or a yard that buys scrap metal for recycling.
