RedBanner
Ssooooooo...... My rearend went out so I drug one out of my brothers storage and I swaps it in. The new (ha) rear end was from a 75 automatic b210, I could tell the brakes shoes where gummy and there was fluid sitting in the bottom of the drums. I spent 40 bucks on wheel bearings breakshoes and wheel cylenders. Got it all in and tried out my dads new brake bleeder with no prevale. Called in the reinforcments (to pump the breaks) and found that there was verry little pressure. I put about a pint off fluid out the back zerqs and they didnt even start to grab. I pumped it a few times and and it felt like shit, I undid the soft line to the rear and had my menion pump it once and it def had flow and pressure. But verry little out the bleaders, im callin it a night for now but in the morning im going to pull the the bleaders and put the compresor to the softline and see if I can blow through the, hard lines on the axle and spray brake fluid all over the shop to prove to my self that its not clogged, ive read that you shoud pre fill the wheel cylinders but ive change dozens of em and calipers with out a problem, and they hold 2 onces at most. Has anyone had this problem or think of something I havent Quote Link to comment
H5WAGON
Do the drums slide on easy....maybe adjust the shoes a little tighter? So the cylinders don't have to push the pads so much to hit the drums... Good luck......I just did mine yesterday. Quote Link to comment

I set the shoes so that I have just a hint of drag when disengaged, but when I engage them I,can, spin them by hand if I realy reef on it Quote Link to comment
