Does anyone know the part number for this JDM type of oil cap?

 

I've been hunting it down and finally found it in ebay.

But it's a replica.

It should get another 5hp our this cap. :D

Well, I ended up buying this replica.

 

Looks like it's no longer available not even in Japan.

So replica is about the closest thing to the original.

L-series engines use a screw-in cap. A-series use a twist-lock cap. I didn't know BProjects sold L-series versions.

It 'should' work on the 1968 L-series snap in cap.

 

Just like a Porsche snap in oil cap works too.

Yes, it works on the early type valve covers. Works with J and A series motors also. Maybe even the E1 motor, will be checking it on my 410.

 

This guy is selling it for $20 a piece for the decal only.

 

So if anyone is interested, let me know so I can include it on my shipment from him. Shouldn't be any extra charge for shipment.
