pl521sss
Does anyone know the part number for this JDM type of oil cap? I've been hunting it down and finally found it in ebay. But it's a replica. It should get another 5hp our this cap. :D Quote Link to comment
kiznook
Im guessing that is for the early style valve cover? If so, I'm jealous and want one NOW! Quote Link to comment
pl521sss
Well, I ended up buying this replica. Looks like it's no longer available not even in Japan. So replica is about the closest thing to the original. Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
Just don't tell Barret-Jackson and I think you'll be ok ;) :D Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
That's from BProjects, a replica Nissan Elephant cap. Details here: http://wiki.datsun1200.com/index.php/Oil_cap L-series engines use a screw-in cap. A-series use a twist-lock cap. I didn't know BProjects sold L-series versions. kiznook
so does it work in the old style l16 cover? I WANT ONE!! Quote Link to comment
Bleach
It 'should' work on the 1968 L-series snap in cap. Just like a Porsche snap in oil cap works too. Quote Link to comment
pl521sss
Yes, it works on the early type valve covers. Works with J and A series motors also. Maybe even the E1 motor, will be checking it on my 410. This guy is selling it for $20 a piece for the decal only. So if anyone is interested, let me know so I can include it on my shipment from him. Shouldn't be any extra charge for shipment. It 'should' work on the 1968 L-series snap in cap. Just like a Porsche snap in oil cap works too. Quote Link to comment
kiznook
How much was the complete cap? Quote Link to comment
