Does anyone have any ideas on how to get foreign body stuff for my car? I like the look of the Aus. and Japan stuff but I cant seem to find any. I want stuff like tail lights, grille and/or nose. There has to be a way to get that stuff!

The search continues.

Find someone in Australia or Japan?

That's really the only way to do things I think... unless you find it for stupid expensive on Ebay. I think Irsa and Fly are from Australia... you could try talking to them.

BTW, I don't think getting a whole front clip shipped over would be the best way to go... at most just get the exterior panels and modify them to fit.

I don't know if this helps. When I lived in the the San Francisco Bay Area, I found this place called Levan Auto Parts. They have a warehouse in SF and one in San Jose. I got replacement parts from China for way cheap.

I was fixing an S10 and and old Ranger. I got front fenders for $38 and a hood for $59. They had replacement tail light assemblies and side marker lights for like $11 or $14. The Ford dealer wanted $45 for a tail light assy. and Levan was $14. The only difference I could see was instead of the Ford logo on the lens it said DOT. Ford wanted $45 for a side mirror and Levan was like $13 or some odd number, looked just like OEM and haven't had any problems.

The fenders and body parts seemed to fit OK, but I wouldn't paint over their primer. I would primer it again. After about ten years the paint on the fender has started to flake off the primer that it sold with.

I have looked around the Portland area thinking that there would be a Levan or something like it, that imports the same stuff, but I haven't found it yet.

It was a while ago, but the last time I was there, a guy in a 620 was having his windshield replaced in the parking lot. My 620 was in good shape at that time and I wasn't interested in body parts but I needed a new windshield. Levan had all kinds of replacement auto glass really cheap. In fact there were three or four mobile glass trucks just hanging out in the parking area doing jobs. The was a guy with a new Accord that looked like somebody smashed a rear passenger window and a mobile guy was fixing it. I remember asking how much to get a winshield and it was like $125 installed. The guy in the 620 had bought all new body parts for the whole front of the truck. I think I remember the fenders being $42 or something.
