skip it, it has a rotory transmission those are so powerful they get poor fuel economy

It really depends if your brother is willing to maintain a rotary. They are great motors, as long as they are kept up with. You need to make sure not to lean it out, and keep it cool, I've had many friends daily rotaries with no issues, it's all up to the maintenance.

 

 

Also, to address MPG, a naturally aspirated 12A really won't be getting that bad of gas mileage as opposed to a turbo'd 13B.

Ok so what about parts for these motors? Are they available or is it worse then window latchs for a 510

window latches are availble @ a dealer near you....NOS too... =)

 

I keep hearing Apex seals with rotary motors...I'm sure parts are available...same with performance stuff...

rotary guys will say rotary engines are good. but they are expensive to rebuild, spendy to maintain. apex seals are junk.. I hear they haul ass tho?

 

Best bet, pull it, sell it, and throw in an L series. Cheap, reliable.
