NWOleman
Did the b210's just have a series motor's or did they get L motor's? Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
In North America, they only got the A13 and A14. They were available in other markets with the L-series engine (usually L14). Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Japanese Sunny Excellent (L-series B210) Quote Link to comment
NWOleman
Holy shit thats a sweet car! was just wondering cause there is a b210 in my local impound yard and i was thinkin bout getn it to make a circle track car. thanks Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
The vast majority came with A12 engines. Except in US where 1974 got A13, and 1975-1978 got A14. L20B makes the B210 fly... for cheap. Bolts right in if you find the right crossmember (610?) and use the B210 auto driveshaft. Quote Link to comment
NWOleman
thanks ggzilla! again! :D Quote Link to comment
RAlly_DatoB210
I definately recomend this. Rode in one and it went pretty good Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Just imagine an L22 then. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Then finally imagine a KA24DE. You will have the power/weight ratio of a 5.0 mustang Quote Link to comment
RAlly_DatoB210
Or go big and vg30et the thing. Not from the l series origin but cmon that would kick so much ass when it caught traction around 4th gear lol Quote Link to comment

Yes, it's a "bolt-in" with a 610 crossmember. Those aren't too easy to find though. ;) With a 510 oil pan and slightly modified 510 engine mounts, it's a good fit. and use the B210 auto driveshaft. I'm starting to think this is a myth. I've heard this many times, but my B210 auto sure looks like it has the small-spline input, not the larger L-series input. I'm swapping out the auto next week, so I'll know for sure then. :D Quote Link to comment

I have a 610...when I attempted to install the L20 with the 510 oil pan and engine brackets/ mounts it would not sit on the chassis correctly...the pan would rub on the steering linkage and the steel brackets would not sit on the rubber mounts I had to use the 610 oil pan and engine brackets! So I don't know if things would be different with the B210 chassis. If anything to avoid searching for a crossmember...cut off the stock brackets and weld you own mounts after you center the block and transmission to your liking on the crossmember! Quote Link to comment

Even though they all look kinda similar. :P Since the 510 is the smallest sump of the 3, I would start there if you can't find a 610 crossmember. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
A 620 pan isn't even in the running. It's a rear sump pan for steering clearance at the front. Quote Link to comment
