That's a repro of the car from the first movie, not the original car. The original car retains the twin tanks in the rear from the second movie. Also the headlight trim is slightly off, as is the antenna mount, and the blower pulley. Also the original lives in England. Still a freakin' awesome car though.

That's because the B210 copied some styling cues from the Ford Mustang.

 

This is a Ford Falcon XB (1974-1976). It is big, the size of a Torino.
