Turbo it

:o im glad it runs good now :) will get a tune up & oil change before she sees the aqua.
New free bumper mounted as of just now. Need to get the ass end up 3 inches to tow safely & i have 3 options...
1. put huge baloon tires back on 185-75-14's that are NEW
2. remove 3 inch blocks
3. fab & weld on a "riser" where the tow ball goes that raises it 4 inches.

Ditch the bumper and build a receiver so you can get a stinger with some lift built into it.
I hate towing from a bumper. Scares the crap out of me!

Yeah the plan down the road is to do this & have a flip down plate.

With help from Greg [sd620] i now have a safe way to tow the boat with plenty of clearance. Its Ratsun style for sure but it'll work fine.

Tow that beast down to the bay on the 27th. My ship will be pulling into the Midway Pier and could use a Datsun escort!

Whenever I think that I'm out of my mind for putting this much time and money into an old Datsun, all I have to do is look some of your threads to know that I'm not nearly as whack as you are.

You're going to skin a few knuckles, stand up too fast and bump your head, hunt around the floor for the nuts and bolts you dropped, invent a few new cuss words and when you're finished you'll say "That wasn't so hard after all!"

Steroid- "almost" on "her" lawn
Steve- the cover is missing. Ill be building one soon.
Pumpkin- it has cleats already but i like your hook idea. I may use that on another part of the boat.

Hooked the boat to the 720 today to see how the hitch will work out. No issues at all ! I may remove the wheel for an extra few inches of clearence. The 720 pulled it just fine w/ plenty of pulling power...

random boat question: do you run a radiator, or does it cycle water from beneath the boat? just curious... :)

looks like fun!!
