collision and customs
I picked up a sweet no rust 79 long bed box converted into a trailer. I only got it for the bed but the thing is very heavy and my Pathy really felt it, so chop out as much as you can on that Goon trailer to lighten it up. Quote Link to comment
collision and customs
We figured we couldn't finish this one super fast but we could chip away at it. Doors have been cherry for a while, finished gutting them the other day. Then had our helper Sand blast the jambs and frames. Final sand and ready for paint. Rolled a fresh coat of white paint in the booth so we can see what we are doing, hung some doors and BAM Looks like the 350Z yellow I used to repair a school bus. Quote Link to comment
Cmac
Just a thought for your trailer. What if you cut the back off another wagon and welded it to the front. The school bus looks good so far, Quote Link to comment

the510keeper
Funny story I buried lots $$$$$ in to a 720 it was cool painted and all, but had to sell it because of smog Quote Link to comment
the510keeper
better engine bay pic We made it to Canby with the goon and then dropped it off at Lukes place for a 4 link rear end set up. We will be bagging the rear. possibility opening up the rear wheel wells once home Because it rains in Or. we wanted to have it completely sealed, which meant finishing the rough mud work on the ass. Victory jumped in and sanded the surface rust off the right rear quarter. We always go deeper then expected. So we resanded and primed the complete rear area. (this was all on the Thursday before we left to Canby) And we had to seal all the wheel wells Bi bi cock ca Quote Link to comment

jesusno2
Ok lets try this agian since it keeps getting deleted. got a box full of parts. Now i learned from my wagon, that the front spring hangers are perfect pickup points for lower bars. So i use that point to start from, by making new hangers for bushed lower link bars. this is going to be a slightly staggered parallel 4 link with either a diagnal bar or panhard, havent quite got that far as to which one is gonna work better. Since this car will be using air bags. Here is a couple shots of the lower bar mounts that may double as a partial upper mount also. Quote Link to comment
jesusno2
Few more pics of the link brackets these are bolt On. and they also double as a subframe connector. I'm gonna add a couple triangle gussets but its pretty much what they have to look like. Geometry seems pretty good at ride height a touch of over steer i just cant get rid of, and a neutral anti squat percent. Quote Link to comment
jesusno2
BTW james i curse your name everytime i get under this car lol. I have a sand box on the garage floor, and I'm still digging it outta my ears eyes hair etc. lol. Quote Link to comment
the510keeper
Sorry about that, sand blasting works great but then you gotta deal with sand. You should see the shop after blasting a car. Never can seem to get it all cleaned up Quote Link to comment
