sidewayzvegan Posted July 30, 2015 Report Share Posted July 30, 2015 Ive been watching this thread long enough without participating 1974 620 4x4 came with 4 speed L18 and Jeep front axle now has toyota front and rear axles napz 22 and a 5 speed out of a 1982 720 Plus a million other things as can be seen in my build thread, but here she is also here is the motor conversion almost completed, just finishing wiring stuff up. 3 Quote Link to comment

Been eyeing this truck up for years. used to drive past it and I left my number in the guys mail box a few times. Checked my phone one day at work and I had a voice mail from him saying he was looking to sell it, but by the time I called him back it was already sold :( Kurk (FricFrac on here) managed to find me the name of the kid that bought it. So I messaged him on facebook asking to sell it to me if he was ever going to. Anyways, last week he messaged me saying he lost his license and needed to get rid of it :rofl: It's a 74, L18 truck with a 5 speed swap. Was a driver and maintained pretty good by the previous-previous owner. It has some rust that needs to be dealt with, the worst being the drivers side rocker, and the bed sides have some cancer too. Would like to keep it stock and get collectors plates :) 2 Quote Link to comment

We need to go to the local surplus yard anyway and see if he might have a water pump for one of our industrial GMC I-6's. Apparently Delta no longer makes these but there are some kicking around as old stock. Prices I've seen are all over the page. This place had a decent price w/ free shipping so it's on the way to the Ol' Pueblo. Now I really need to get the spare tire under the bed (see other thread). Quote Link to comment

willz Posted February 19, 2017 Report Share Posted February 19, 2017 Anything that's in the 15x8 - 8.5 range requires at least a 195/50 unless you want to rub. I'm on 195/60 front and 205/50 rear (not by choice) and I rub occasionally. I'm at a 205/50/15 on a 15x8 all the way around.... no rubbing Quote Link to comment
