How to remove windshield wiper housings

Hello,

Spent some time today working on my windshield wipers, both of which were frozen in place. Hard time removing the big nuts, as seems to be the case with every old Datsun. I was baffled to discover that removing the nuts did nothing to free the housings from the cowl, though. So, instead, I removed the little clip that holds each shaft up in the housing, lowered the the shafts and cleaned both up.

The wipers move smoothly, now. And I'm going to look around for new shaft o-rings as both were hard and flat. If anyone happens to know the specs on those, that would be great.

But, my real question is: how do you actually remove the wiper housings? I would really like to get them off and put new gaskets under them as well. For some reason, I cannot find the wipers in the parts manual, so I cannot even tell exactly how many components there are, let alone how they are assembled.

Thanks in advance for any guidance anyone can offer.

Best,

Jesse.
