RAlly_DatoB210
The other day I tried to run some seven or eight inch wide progressive rims with -25 offset and they poked out a good inch or more and rubbed like hell on the fenderwells at the slightest bump or turn. Stock ride hight and about a cm of clearance tires were 205 60 r13 what is the widest rims you can tuck? I have ran it with 14 in z turbines and huge snow tires and they didn't have a clearance issue haven't driven it though. What does every one here run? The slotted mags are a nice fitment Quote Link to comment
Wood
I run 15X8 -63, hacked fenders. it rubs on bumps and wide turns :) Quote Link to comment
RAlly_DatoB210
I don't want to hack mine up. Too clean and rust free of body but I think it would look good slammed with vg flares. Just don't want to smoke wrench it Quote Link to comment
RAlly_DatoB210
These rims will work for someone else trade for another set I can drive around on? Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Offset is the key thing. With a mild fender roll you can easily run a 14x7 (with 185/60-14 tire) or 15x7 (with 195/50-15 tire) zero offset wheel. Without serious hacking, that is about as stout as you can go. I am currently running a 14x7 -9 with a fairly stout fender pull/roll. Quote Link to comment
Burabuda
do the zx struts and that gains you some more clearance for the fronts Quote Link to comment
