inda bebe
i was able to find a KA24E 4x4 for $200, but wasnt sure if it will work w/ my 720 2wd. i was told that it would, but i just want to confirm before i buy and chance it. Quote Link to comment
izzo
It should, may have to change a few things such as oil pan/pickup tube maybe. Couple of wires, and off you go. will bolt up to existing 720 trans as long as its a nap z motor in there already. what year of 720? Quote Link to comment
inda bebe
its an 86. i tried to search on this, but there wasnt any direct answer or confirmation that it was done. Quote Link to comment
izzo
Ok, read what i put above. you will need a higher pressure fuel pump, and a little bit of wiring done. not bad tho Quote Link to comment
datsunrides
If you end up needing a 2wd oil pan and brand spankin' new pickup tube, I gots one. Mark Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
If it runs good put your 720 body on it. Bigger brakes, newer bold look, 4X4. Done. Check out http://community.rat...er/2302-nis720/ he has a KA in his 720. Quote Link to comment
Nathyne
The one thing you will need to keep in mind is the wiring the d21 harness is intergrated with the chassis while the 240 harness isn't so I would get a 240 harness and ecu. Not sure what you would need to change to make it work with the d21 engine if anything at all but it is something to keep in mind. On my truck I used a 240sx ka24e and modified an oil pan from a d21 and modified the 240sx engine mounts apart from that it was a pretty easy swap. Wow never noticed how old this thread is my bad for bringing it up lol Quote Link to comment
