Full valve job, minor port and polish, chamber/bowl work, competition valve springs, intake ports are now 1 3/8". havent measured the exh ones. Camshaft is a 'CalCams 27-D', Dave Rebello tells me its the milder of the two cams they usually use(hence the still-small ports) but its pretty mean for a 2bbl setup like mine. The head is built for the small-ish (1.9L) bottom end. Too much port, and you actually LOSE power.

I didnt do the eyebrow trim and grille surround, only the grille itself and the bezels. 69 Grilles arent the best looking even NEW. i do have a 68 grille here tho, bent up and the emblem missing, but its goin with the car to james... ;)

I should be on the road by then =)

 

Me and a friend are gonna be assembling the engine this or next week some time. THen of course break in, work the bugs out, re jet, etc. SHootin for... ASAP!!! =)
