Looking for a flywheel now and waiting for my head to get rebuilt. Also still need to buy a cam (O&J) and do the timing set and put the motor together. philcas1987 Posted January 10, 2012 Report Share Posted January 10, 2012 make sure you get a good timing set. Napa is the only place I've found to have a good set. Expensive though. The timing chain tension guide is one piece as opposed to the cheap China stamped two piece one. The fail right were it bolts to the block. It gets loose right were it wraps around. Heres Oics Before After Joby Cleaned it up first Welded a Bar on for a jig but ended up bolting the ends back into the car and welding the center back in just to make SURE it was right. Por-15'd both the trunk and the engine bay. Also seam sealed the trunk. Should be dropping the motor in soon !! Quote Link to comment

I thought I had 240 mounts on my last KA until I just picked up my new KA that came from a 240 and they were totally different.... So now I'm looking for a type of motor mount to use. VintageRice Posted March 23, 2012 Author Report Share Posted March 23, 2012 Stock Ka (240sx) top mounts. Stock 510 lower rubber mounts. But, you have to unbolt the lower mounts and move them down using the other set of holes in the mount plate. EZ. Quote Link to comment
