Conan
Im thinking about going the other way and raising my 521, is this just the invert procedure of lowering and what restrictions do i have? Quote Link to comment
Madness
To lift a 521 is completely different than lowering it. The rear is pretty easy depending on how much you want to lift it. Adding a longer spring shackle will get you about an inch, i dont recommend going any further with a shackle because it really starts to screw up your pinion angle. If you want to go any higher in the rear you will have to fabricate spring seats on the top of your axle to do a "spring over conversion". Front is easy if you want an inch or two, just crank up the torsion rods. It will ride like shit and you alignment will be pretty screwed up but thats about all you can do for the front other that making new A arm mounts and re doing the whole steering system geometry. I honestly belive in 2x4= down, 4x4= up. its hard to do the opposite, and it dosen't make much sense. Quote Link to comment
