nismopu
pretty cool. are these axles a better fit than the 300zx units? Obviously these are going to be stronger but I havent heard of anyone breaking the 300zx units. Quote Link to comment
SHADY280
good stuff, i was wondering the same as nismo, but if your gonna push some big numbers, it may be cheap insurance. whats gonna go at the other end? Quote Link to comment
V8Dat
On the other end we already had an adapter to run 280zxT axles and the Porsche fit right in those adapters. Just have to re-drill the Porsche bolt pattern. I'll post more pics as soon as i have the complete mock-up done. Quote Link to comment
nismopu
its been a while since I have been under my Z but is this the diff side? Or is this the stub axle side because it looks like it could be either one. I have been dreading pulling my stub axles for the cv conversion but its got to be done if I want to run the VLSD. peace. V8Dat
It's the diff side. I already have the outer stub axle side on the car. Will take pcs when I get done so you can see. Have to send these off now to the heat treaters. The material is 4130 CM. So after the Treatment, should be pretty strong. Quote Link to comment
