tdaaj Posted March 14, 2007 Report Share Posted March 14, 2007 so my folks are on vacation for a couple weeks and i'm taking care of thier place. what i'm wondering is, is there any kind of engine bolt on mods i can do to this car to give it a little more uhmph? i'm putting some silver star headlights in it and re-aiming the beams., already installed 4 new eclipse speakers, stock ones sucked. anyways its a 4 banger, think its a 2.0? is this the same as a napz engine? its a gxe. I think the Stanza started in 1989 and had the FWD KA24e The sentra had the E16 ? maybe... same as the Pulsar back in 1987 ok, nevermind. I looked it up Stanza had the CA20e in 1987-88. And the KA in 1989+ You can bolt on a CA18DE head maybe ? hehe... DOHC! Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic Posted March 14, 2007 Report Share Posted March 14, 2007 Stanza started in '82 with the CA20, it was the replacement for the '78-81 510. Sentra started in '82 as well with the E15, it was the replacement for the 210. Nissan NEVER made a NAPS-Z FWD engine. Quote Link to comment
Icehouse Posted March 14, 2007 Report Share Posted March 14, 2007 Sorry Ted there are no bolt ons for the ca20, there is a coil mod but its not much of a increase. Any upgrade would be quite the project, like a turbo or cam regrinds. :D Quote Link to comment
