RAlly_DatoB210
What did you have to do to get the Talon seats to bolt in? I want to say 3 holes line up with stock and drill one? At op can I get pictures of it lowered completely? Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
No, These are original lug nuts that came with REAL "Libre" wheels. They are not new ones from a parts store. Designed to fit OEM Nissan wheels. That's odd because the OEM Nissan lug nuts should be too big for the Libres? Quote Link to comment
Master-O-Turbonics
putting the car back to mostly stock, had an offer for $2000. Any board member that wants to buy the car for that, make your shout. new clutch, ignition tune up stuff, bright silverstar headlights.... NICE Mitsubishi seats, has good door panels but interior stripped otherwise. Steel wheels with crap tires going back on it.(1000 mile new tires can be put on old wheels for $150 extra, mounted) Quote Link to comment

Master-O-Turbonics
Looking to keep the ports small for increased intake charge velocity, but still crunching the numbers for CFM vs volume. Quote Link to comment

Master-O-Turbonics
Post some pics so the Rats can see! Ok here is a fresh one. I have been busy replacing the floors/ framerail in a 280z from just in front of the rear control arm mounts all the way up to the middle of the T/C rod box. No time to work on the 210. The car is driving and I daily drive it, but front camber is way off in the positive direction, and the main engine water pump/ alternator belt is now cooked. LOL BTW in these pics the front suspension is at full up..... imagine 4.5" down from where it is now.. MOAR LOWWW Quote Link to comment
Master-O-Turbonics
Here is the message I got from the guy that sold me the V912 head just the other day.... "hi dan, sorry i do not have any other parts, and thank you for your fast payment. i also am very sorry to inform you that i will have to refund the full amount of your purchase, the item has gone missing between packaging and shipping. i have done my best to locate the item over the weekend but have come up empty handed. i sincerely apologize and will send the refund immediately. i will do my best to accommodate and help you in any way that i can, i just don't have the item to sell to you now, i will keep searching and if or when it turns up i will contact you and get it to you, that is the best i can offer at the moment, regretfully yours, rob" I wouldn't buy anyhting from "Rob Say" as he lists his name on the web, but his name really is Rob Seay. Lives in Outlook, Sk, Canada. I paid $975 shipped for this thing and he can't even come up with it...Money was refunded. WOW Quote Link to comment
67 411
He must of gotten a better offer. That sucks but at least you got your money back. Hey why not post some pics of the work on the 280z. Quote Link to comment
Master-O-Turbonics
He must of gotten a better offer. That sucks but at least you got your money back. Hey why not post some pics of the work on the 280z. Yeah, Oh well. Dont have any pics on the Z yet... will have some next week sometime. I have a busy weekend working for a race team at the races Friday night in Nashville... then an L20B race motor to assemble on Saturday for a buddy. Need to work on the 210! Clutch slave is dead so the car is parked! Quote Link to comment
Master-O-Turbonics
Ok got a closed chamber A87 with a racer brown cam in it, comp springs, aftermarket retainers, etc... and got an aluminum roadster chunk with a Datsun comp ring and pinion set. Quote Link to comment
Master-O-Turbonics
The 280Z is finally done, but now I'm wide open with racing season that I don't have time to think about a Datsun lol Just got back from Chicago on Sunday at 11:30pm. back in the shop to build one car(halfway through body work) Monday at 7am and have till Thursday at 2pm to finish it when it leaves for Pennsylvania. I worked 13.5 hours today LOL here is a little peek at my job: I hung the nose and did the Bondo work, Valence is being made and the car is getting loaded on the trailer to go to Pocono tomorrow afternoon. This is just a backup car... I have everything I need for my motor short of a L20B front cover and a head gasket... Quote Link to comment
Master-O-Turbonics
Prepping the 200sx H190 to replace the H150 in the car... and with my 15X8" wheels mounted... A ford 9" axle shaft (behind an 800hp monster of a motor) vs the large spline 200sx axle. Pretty impressive if you ask me.... and finally have some work space at the house... Having some fun after-hours at work. Quote Link to comment
Master-O-Turbonics
Car is at the shop now. Time to start cutting away. Quote Link to comment
PurePontiacKid
I love where this car is going but PLEASE take off some/all of those godawful stickers on the windows, or put them in a nicer layout on the quarter windows. Quote Link to comment

PurePontiacKid
what the fuck. you post your progress on the INTERNET and expect no one to voice their opinions. what the fuck kind of shit are you smoking??? Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Can't wait to see how this finishes. With your resources, should be good. Love me an '81 B310! Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
what the fuck. you post your progress on the INTERNET and expect no one to voice their opinions. what the fuck kind of shit are you smoking??? LOL, he means he has bigger things to deal with than window stickers at the given moment, he doesn't care what you think as he is not near done with the car. His statement might be better read as "Judgements wont be acknowledged until after the car is deemed done." Quote Link to comment
Master-O-Turbonics
PLEASE take off some/all of those godawful stickers on the windows, or put them in a nicer layout on the quarter windows. Seems like your first statement there is not so much of just an opinion, but a request for action. and expect no one to voice their opinions. what the fuck kind of shit are you smoking??? I do not smoke, drink, or do drugs. Guess I'm not much of a Ratsun guy then... Laecon hit the nail on the head. The decals were laid out in a manner that allowed me some vision out of the car while driving. Quote Link to comment
Master-O-Turbonics
H190 swap (just mocked up for driveline mounting, being pulled back out later for powdercoating) This swap gives me rear disc brakes, use of any H190 gear, or a modified aluminum roadster chunk, and the big spline axles. S110 200sx H190 on left, 1981 210 (B310) H190 on right. S110 H190 in back, B310 H150 in front All mounts are identical. Bolts into the chassis no fabrication required. 280zx wheel(185/65R14 tire) on 200sx axle should still fit under stock fenders, but you may have to roll the lip just a touch. sneak peak at what is to come. tucking just for fun: Quote Link to comment
