WOW!!!!!! your truck your skills your shop your other cars.... all sweet as hell.. just one question, why didnt you use an actual king-cab cab, i see them everywhere and if you can find three hoods to cut up im sure you could have found another cab.. but thats just my opinion... i love the truck, i bet its an uncontrollable mess of power funnness to drive... mad propsPosted Image

Hi
Ya I would have just swaped the cab but I could'nt find one that was clean ,they were all rusty or smashed , and I did'nt want to buy a whole truck for a cab.
I added 16 inches, I think mine is longer plus I did'nt want the big back window, as I have a slider to go in and was originaly going to chop the top 3 inches.
Its easyer to chop the top from the bottom and with the small window its less work.
I am glad you like it , I have to get it finished soon !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really miss driving it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But I do have a nice 510 wagon to drive so I am getting my Datsun fix !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Fast720

Hi
Some members wanted to know how I installed the Supercharger, I built an adapter and the pullies are off wrecks, the one on the crank is a certain size to obtain the right amount of boost, its off a German car ..........................sorry guys .......................I try to keep it all Nissan.
The fuel and air is managed by HKS Pfc F-con and a Turbo ECU.
I hope this helps

Hi
Didn't get much work done on the truck this weekend, but spent time organizing parts and cleaning up the shop, but had to put the truck back on the ground, so I took some pics.

Woah. What to say? Mad props and massive respect for what is happening in this build! That air box looks better than a factory job. It even looks like you angled the little hood vent to match the lines of the hood. And it is genius that you blew through the freakin fender to get even more cold air. Sooo clean. This is about the most attention functional detail I have seen on this site. It is a pleasure to watch it progress!

I just assumed you got a VG33er from a frontier or something and put it in here. This is way beyond man!

All I got to say is amazing work. Makes me want to go work on my 510. Sadly the wife says not until the living room remodel is finished, but that gives me more time to dream... Anyways again amazing truck.

Hi
Sorry guys , I have been away in Italy for a wild 6 week holiday, leased a 2010 Renault Megane coupe for the trip, had it for 33 days and put 5300 kilometers on it, the roads there are totally awesome !!!!!!!! not to mention the Ferrari Factory and the Ducati Factory ................................way cool
So I will have to get back to hot rod Nissan soon, have some paying jobs to do first !!!!!!!
I want it finished for the spring so I can go to a couple of events !!!!!!!!!!
Cheers

Hi Guys and Gals I have been busy ............but not on my truck , yes a Mini but not a truck .I am building a custom Carbonfiber dash for someone else, it's for a classic Austin Mini, building a Plug and then a mold from the Plug and then the actual parts........................whew its a s#^@t load of work, but its going to be very very cool !!!!!!Here are some picks so far, should be making some parts this week coming and then back to my 720 rocket.
Here is the mockup
Posted Image

The Plug its two parts the Main dash and a console
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image

The plugs finished and waxed then sprayed with PVA are now ready to be Gel-coated and then fiberglassed to make the Mold
Posted Image

The Mold , now gets waxed 6 times and then Sprayed with PVA , then the layup to make actual parts .......................tons of work !!!!!!!
Posted Image

Looking forward to working on my truck again, spring is coming and I would like to try and go to this thing you guys call Canby !!!!!!!
Cheers Phil

Hi guys
Finally got back to working on my truck, did a mock up for the interior, so i can install the new handbrake in the floor, got a console from a pathgrinder.
and seats from a Mitsubishi I think or Talon, they are gray leather and the drivers side is power.
The supersize cab is awesome, full recline.
I am going to put a push on , i would like to make it to Canby.
