There are lots of guys who have setup their own hosts now. The rest of us have spread out to postimage, flickr, or a couple others.

I use postimage, but they had a problem with their server host a few weeks ago that almost shut them down completely, so I'm not sure how stable they are right now

Yesterday Postimage was having issues, but today it was working fine again.

I just opened that Postimage account 4/5 days ago and the third/fourth day it didn't work properly, it kept showing an error when trying to upload a photo.

I've been quite happy with them. Just a little nervous.

Hi fellow Ratsun dudes ................I am back working on Blue Thunder , a big push to finish is on !!!!!!!!

I might need some help from Charlie to fix my past pics and what is everyone doing to host new pics ?

Hey Fast as far as pictures there are fixes for Chrome and FireFox but like Wayno said you can see your pictures but noone else can.. I am temporarily using Post Image and after getting aquainted with it I like it.  They have no limits and no pay for use at this time.

I will eventually set up a personal website but that will be after I get back on my feet after having my left knee replaced.

Hi Guys & Galls

I have been working on Blue thunder a bit , I got an offer from Photobucket for $ 100.00 bucks for the year to host my stuff , so instead of switching and learning a new site and all that  I signed up .

But they haven't switched me back on yet  ,If I don't get a response from them tomorrow  , I will burn them to the ground ..........................just saying.

So stay tuned  , I miss this site and all the support to keep me inspired .

Sounds like they are trying to save themselves/survive now, you need to go with a different hosting service and not get painted into a corner.

I'd like to see it back too, but I'd rather not see PB get any $'s.  I've been deleting their emails, but I don't think they've sent me any kind of offer.

The way PhotoBucket did the posted pictures for millions of users was just bad business and I will not pay them a penney.  Who is to say you pay PhotoBucket $100 now and in a week they want another $100.  They have proven to the world that they will fuck you at the drop of a hat.

If you want email your pictures to me and I will post them for you.  Best of all I will not charge you any thing for doing it.

Hi

Been working on inner front fenders , needed a little more clearance at full lock , you know incase it ever gets sideways lol lol  ...

I will have to relocate the battery in the back of the truck somewhere , probably going to use a Miata Battery because they are small , plus I happen to have one .

 DSC07562_zpsgqamm35i.jpg

Cut the inners out to make some room

DSC07566_zpsuk3y6ina.jpg

I added power steering from a D21 so I decided to drop the fluid res into the fender .

Hi

The other side  , I had to cut a big slice out of the bottom of the air box ,

For the power steering pump , it has to run on the blower belt , So I had to convert the pulley from a V belt .

I machined the V part off the old pulley and welded on the new one .

Hi everyone

Got a little bit of work done , still not feeling great DAM FLU .

Making some tire clearance , don't want any rubbing issues later , much easier to fix now !!!

Had to make a new pocket for the brake booster , I will finish these inner fenders when the cab comes of , it will be a lot faster & easier to get at both sides .

Whenever I think that I'm out of my mind for putting this much time and money into an old Datsun, all I have to do is look some of your threads to know that I'm not nearly as whack as you are.

You're going to skin a few knuckles, stand up too fast and bump your head, hunt around the floor for the nuts and bolts you dropped, invent a few new cuss words and when you're finished you'll say "That wasn't so hard after all!"

My little white D21's engine decided to blow the head gasket , so I pulled the head to see what was going on , yup the gasket was bad along with the cam chain sliders etc.

Wow I couldn't believe the price of the parts !!! head gskt set and bolts over $300 and the cam chain set complete was over $500 !!!

So I used my spare engine , took the best external parts from both and put it in , runs strong .

So that used up my time for Blue Thunder this week ...........

I’ve been away for a good while, glad you decided to stay with the project. It’s nice to see what can be done diy style, like old school hot rodding.

Hi
Will be working on Blue Thunder for a while , lots of stuff getting in the way as usual .
My White D21 is all back together runs awesome , picked up a new to us daily driver for my wife , her 95 MX5 started smoking really bad on start up , I suspect it's the stem seals .
Her new ride !!!!! 2012 MX5  with a power roof and all the toys , it came from Kentucky , it was in a lite crash , some assembly required !!!! .

Because I use my shop to do other stuff , it 's a pain in the ass to move the truck and jack it up and jack it back down to move it aside , so I came up with this idea , I made three sizes of blocks , so I can use different combinations to suit a height that I need .

I have taken a month off to button up this truck  , So Stay Tuned In !!!!
