What a trip. Most people try to get rid of rust.

 

I'd like to see a new car covered entirely like that. Brand new escalade all rusted up.

Just buy a datsun from santa cruz and get ripped off like I did. After sanding the paint i find newspaper and bondo covering the cancer.

Why spend good money for fake rust when you can have the real thing by not waxing your car and parking it outdoors? Covering the car / truck with the cheapest all cotton "dust cover" car cover you can find will hasten your delight. Park overnight in a sea front parking lot on nights with onshore winds and high surf is also a "good" idea.

Meh, neat for the sake of art, keep it the f*ck away from my Datsuns! Living on the surface or not, that's why they made paint. Otherwise Datsuns would have been made out of thick steel like 40's Chevys. I'd rather rock an actual rust-bucket.
