Hey vegas do you mind elaborating on keeping the stock manifold?
I've done so much with so little, I'm now qualified to do anything with nothing!!!

on you truck. if you do a rear mount turbo. you mount in under the bed of the truck. just

gotta get a flange welded to the piping to

bolt up the turbo. instead or making a custom manifold or buying a turbo manifold.

That seems pretty inefficient, but then again I'm new to shit subject! What kind of numbers am I looking at for a perfectly sealed system?

it actually has been shown to reduce boost lag .
im not possitive on outpot numbers on a stock 620
motor. ive never delt with one.

well took out my interior carpet and allPosted Image

driver side was rusted out . previous owner

riveted pieces of metal to cover the holes. but its alot

metal missing under it. would it be worth it to go over everything and weld a new piece in

to clean it up or buy a new cab???? what yall think

Hey, this is Glenn's old truck. I recognized my first set of uca's on there. Didn't this truck already have a ka in it?

well arnt ya going to cut that mother up anyways?! Fuck with it a little and set it up right. Once you have it running then drive it around and stuff. If you want it perfect then you would have a better idea on where to go on a new cab?

yeah it had a sohc ka in it before.

got my top mount intoday. its gonan be a tight fit for

the downpipe and external wastegate, but it shouold work.

i going with a thinner brake booster, make a little more room in the engine

bay for the turbo and piping

sanding the floor today.
gonna need a good amoutn of metal replaced, but gonna try and see what i
can do to save it, last resort is going to be new cab.

sorry been a bit since update.




-cut the front end off. was in to bad of shape
already found a donar truck at the JY.
_ pickedup a set of 15x10 western turbines at a hole
in the wall rim and tire place. 150bucks
-got my top mount manifold ,turbo, tail wastegate
-ordering coilover and rear disk brackets from
beebani
- ordered the coil overs
- talking with greggie about some rhd parts
- taking the truck to a friends house to get a four
link set up in the rear end
- interior is completely out, sanding down the rust to see what exactly i gotta fix on the body
. so far its going good
got a lil in a rush cuz i have a show on the 22 of may going on. only two weeks to get everythign done.
gonna be alot of all nighters. and 28th show in so cal.
will have pics up tomorrow

i mexican rim and tire place by my house. im going to check other too for more turbines. and hopefully can get the for cheap price and get them sold to other ratsun members for hella cheap as well

truck is getting loaded up and off to buddy house. for major body work, 4 link, paint.
orderd a alluminum 3 row radiator and greddy intake manifold today.
hopefully greggie get back to me soon about the rhd parts so i can start the conversion.
