I'm sorry, I apologize. I can't remember being bored in many years. The game I play is endlessly fascinating. I was trying to help you cure your boredom. It seemed like your games weren't doing it. What is an artistic gene? Is that a thing? That sounds like a cop out. It's like people saying they don't have talent. Music is a language. It can be taught and learned easily if some wants to do the work. Talent is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.

I have a friend that is a very rich guy. He started writing software code for arcade games in about 1980. He wrote Asteroids and Battle Zone and retired from Atari in his 40s. He had Beta models in his garage and we used to mess with them. He told me that he could tweak the code so that the games were either so hard that you never could win or that you always won. He wrote code that tracked players and told him how to tweak the games, so that it made kids pump quarters into them at the optimum rate. He made the games just hard enough for kids not to get bored but hard enough that they kept coming back.

The only game, was his game, getting people to make him rich. I thought that was boring... the last time I got bored.

There is always some strange old guy like me sitting in the corner with a barstool with his name on it. Look over there... there is Kamakazi 620 ranting pointless crap about cats on his Kazi stool.
