Isn't Scotts more expensive than Nissan? Try your local Nissan dealer. It's not cheap, but not horribly expensive.

Last year I bought wing window vent rubbers for my '72 Datsun 1200. They quieted down the wind noise. Nissan was out but I got genny Nissan parts from Too Intense out of Cali for about the same price.

For the pop-out windows, I used the stock gaskets from a 1980 Datsun. They are an inch too short but fit anyways -- its like new again.

Nissan still has dealers that sell parts? I seldom use 'em. I usually run into a serious lack of interest/knowledge by the "parts technician" with the older stuff. "We don't make those anymore." No sh*t Sherlock.

Haven't had much opportunity to mess with the poor thing lately. Between babies and old folks, not much spare time. And the windows don't leak when it's not raining.

I will probably just dry it out and do some rust convertor/preventative until I'm ready to do some serious chassis work on it.

Thanks for reminding me!!! Couple of years ago I went to the dealer for a part and some info. Anyway much of the stuff isn't even on the computers anymore near hear, but the guy took any interest in the power steering on my 620, and cross referenced some numbers and pictures and got what I wanted. He even went up stairs into the 'attic' and brought down a manual and let me copy a wiring diagram. Shit, I'll bet it's still there going to waste. Next time I go by, I'm going in and ask for it. Maybe there's some other 'crap' up there too!!!

Saw the JTA annoncement. Should get some more "sign ups". Sure can't beat the initiation fee and dues. Have had an official sticker design for many years, just not familiar with all the bells and whistles on this here computin' machine like you youngsters are, so it's still on that stuff called paper. Maybe in a couple years we can have a Japanese Trucking Association "corral" at Canby.
