max121 Posted March 7, 2010 Report Share Posted March 7, 2010 hi i have a 510 that was wrecked in the front it came like this and has the peice to replace the clip. the new peice is cut larger than what is needed. i dont wana just cut it i want to do it right is there anyone that can give me some pointers. is there a simple way of doing it do i take measurements from a good car and subtract that from the piece? Icehouse Posted March 11, 2010 Report Share Posted March 11, 2010 We took Hainz's all the way back under the floor removing the whole frame rail. Then at the top where it connects to the A pillar. here are a few pics of what we did. To the untrained eye there is no evidence that it was ever wrecked, I would find another donor car for a better clip. Quote Link to comment
