Started the carbon fiber reinforced kitty hair filler areas of the car. For those of you that wanted to see the can Smoothed the antenna hole, make a temp let, cut it out, grind it to fit and back it with a magnet and weld Now moving to the roof Clean, mask and primer. I use a self etching primer surfacer called Metal Lock by sems works great on the 1st coat, but does not work well for final sanding And lets talk stitch welding, I usually hire a great welder but he's busy and I'm broke so I took care of it. I might have gotten excited. Other 510ers say it looks great. Now the roof is done and engine bay is almost ready for the $600 a quart paint, we are getting happy. Quote Link to comment
